Beach Club
One of the main reasons we made the Hacienda our second home is because of the amazing beach along with the amazing staff that runs the beach club. Get to know the guys on the beach and they will take good care of you during your stay. 5 star service is available along with food, drinks, chairs, umbrellas and tables. As for activities, they have boogie boards, paddle boards, kayaks and inflatables. Just ask. The vendors on the beach are also great, if you don’t want to be bothered just say “no gracias” and they will leave you alone. One of our favorite vendors is Vanessa the message lady. You will pay between $20 and $30 for a one full body message depending on the season. And keep in mind that tips are very much appreciated.
Room Service
The property restaurant “Hacienda Cantina” provides room service. Dial “5705” from the kitchen phone.
Apple Home-kit
Our home is equipped with Apple Homekit and includes HomePods, Apple TV’s and Lutron Cassetta smart switches. Here are the command lists, should make your stay more pleasant. Every room will have a copy on the night stands and one in the living room round table.
Wet Wear
There are 6 hooks on the ocean view patio. Two on the left and four on the right side of the sliding patio door. Leaving clothes on the outdoor patio is not safe as it may fly away.
Free Coffee
Every morning, the Hacienda has a self service coffee counter in the round room by the pool. If you take the stairs down from the lobby to the restaurant. The coffee station is at the bottom of the staircase on the right side.
Groceries
Wall mart and Costco are about a 15 minute drive from the Hacienda. There are also small convince stores called “OXXO” similar to 7/11 in the USA. A new grocery store just opened called Frescos where you can find fine wine, meat, seafood and other household goods along with a coffee and ice cream shop serving gelato. This is our new favorite spot.
Transportation
When it comes to transportation, Bogar comes highly recommended. You can easily reach out to Bogar via WhatsApp at +52 624 158 1502, as it’s the preferred mode of communication for many locals in Cabo.
Before finalizing transportation arrangements, it’s wise to request a price estimate in advance. If you’re arranging a pick-up from the airport, don’t hesitate to ask the driver to make a quick stop at a supermarket on the way. This is a common request and typically won’t result in significant additional costs if planned ahead.
Don’t forget to tip the drivers separately for their service. When contacting Bogar, be sure to mention that Regina and Israel referred you. Also, kindly request that cold beers and waters are provided upon pick-up, just like Bogar does when he picks us up.
